I must be missing something?? and comments welcome… If you look at picture 1, you can see the oval holes on the wall bracket will not match up well to the 16″ on center studs in wall. You would think it would be designed to “fit” standard 16″ on center to the studs but it is not. To me, the proper design would be that the center of the outer oval holes on either end to measure exactly 16″. That would give you flexibility as well if the studs were not exactly 16″ on center. You can make this design work but just barely as you see I drilled at an angle for the screw bolts. I did that vs. going straight in as I thought I would have to drill into the edges of the 2×4’s and there would be a good chance to split them behind the wall = not as sturdy. Very curious why the engineers who designed this bracket, as delivered, thought this was a good design. Other than the install challenge, It is a very nice unit – just takes some careful measuring and drilling = time.

A little better instruction, with blow ups of what they are trying to tell you would help in installation.Other than that, it was an easy install.
