I like it so far, I’ve used lots of Lenovo laptops before and it works up to par. Though, I did order it in blue and it came silver. It’s not a big deal as I really only ordered it because of the price point, but it was advertised as a different color and that kind of annoys me.

I got this computer for work. I needed something cheap and highly portable, and having used a chromebook in school I knew I wanted one. This chromebook is great for the price and needs I needed met. ChromeOS is a pretty smooth and well rounded system, and this particular laptop is sleek, thin, lightweight, and visually pleasing. It does have Linux built in, but I can’t comment on that because I’m not the most tech savvy. The good thing about chromebooks is you don’t really have to be.Keep in mind if you want a chromebook, most of the time the apps are meant for a phone or tablet. As far as I know, most games won’t work or will be hard to play, and some apps have diminished usage because of how tapping vs. Clicking works. Not that big of a deal to me, but it could be frustrating to someone who wants a regular laptop for casual use. The touchpad on this particular one is pretty good, and large enough to use given the size of the laptop. The keys are a little thin and small so sometimes I miss them or mistype when going fast. The screen is perfectly acceptable, vibrant and it fills most of the bezel. Overall, 8/10.

I was a little skeptical about this laptop considering the price, but I am amazed!Three things right out the gate: 1) It’s listed as Abyss Blue but it’s actually a silver/metallic color which I’m not angry about because it looks good. 2) It’s listed as 14″ but it’s actually 15.6″ which again I’m not angry about lol 3) It’s stated as Windows 10 Home for the operating system but it comes with Windows 11 which this is my first time using the OS and I haven’t run into any issues with it so once again I’m not angry! Now onto the rest: I read a review in which their laptop didn’t have the correct graphics card in it. I can confirm mine does indeed have the 6 core, 12 thread AMD Ryzen 5 5500U. In fact, everything else is as stated in the description and it’s wonderful! It is quick to start up and all programs so far run quickly. I haven’t tried playing a newer game on it yet so that will be the biggest test for this laptop that I would be able to put it through. Otherwise, it operates the web and my usual desktop applications perfectly fine. The few negatives I have: 1) The sound is not the best as the speakers are inside the elbow where the screen meets the body. 2) Even though the keyboard has a full ten key pad, the enter key is small and I find my finger hitting the 4 key rather than the enter some times (just have to learn this keyboard better) 3) The battery life seems decent. I’m taxing this system more than I am my work laptop, but it still seems to drain slightly faster than I expect.Overall I’m very happy I got this laptop so far as it has exceeded my expectations at pretty much every turn.

Excellent laptop for the price. However, I still do not agree with replacing old 500 GB or 1 TB hard drives with solid state drives with barely 64 GB of storage. There isn’t even enough space for Windows updates after a while. Even with storing all my files on Google Drive or another cloud storage service, I am perennially low on storage, and at risk of not having access to my files if my Internet connection is down.

The media could not be loaded.  I have ordered a renewed Chromebook from Kiko Tech via Amazon. When it arrived, I found there are numerous problems. Here are the problems of the renewed Chromebook I bought from Kiko Tech.According to the definition of “Good Condition” offered by Amazon, a product should be:- This pre-owned product has been professionally inspected, tested and cleaned by Amazon qualified vendors.- This product is in “Good condition”. The screen has no scratches; body shows light scratches barely visible from 12 inches away. However, my Chromebook has the following problems and you can see the video for reference:First, it is uneven when placed on the table. Since it is uneven, it will make noise when I bring them to the classroom when I need to type. I can place a pad under the Chromebook, but it is so inconvenient.Second, I believe the touchpad is seriously broken. As you can see from the video, when I press the touchpad to function left-click, it falls dramatically. I suspect how long the touchpad will sustain.Third, there are several scratches on the surface of the Chromebook that I can see even beyond 12 inches.

I’m not totally against refurbished items but when you advertise that it’s “excelent refurbished condition” and it won’t turn on or charge, I’m at a loss as to why it would even be shipped to a customer this way. In order to make sure it’s in working condition, don’t you need to charge it and make sure it turns on and send it with a charger that works? EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!

This is a Great laptop. I first order another Lenovo, which was defective or something. Because it was so new there were no reviews. I returned it with no problem. I thought I didn’t need such a high grade laptop. So I decided to get this one, and it’s almost half the cost. Im not a gamer on PC, but this also comes with entice gamer pluses, including Xbox promotion time. I periodically watch movies mostly pay bills, read and writing docs. For personal use, I am please with laptop. It is fast, smooth has sufficient memory. Graphics are great, touch screen works great, and so does touch point, even has backlit. It comes with with windows 11 home, Great for me. I transfer all my docs and pdf, photos, music, and some apps. with Lenovo migration assist, so easily through my wifi. I did buy from Microsoft site, and pdf app, so I can edit and sign forms that only cost me 49.00 one time fee for up to “I think” it was 5 different devices. I would difinately recommend this laptop. I bought it on the lighting deal last week. Loved the price even more. Thumbs up for this laptop.

This laptop is genuinely pretty good. You probably won’t find a faster laptop for this price point. Most laptops around this price tag use a few year-olds processor, while these uses a true 2022 processor. Intel’s 12th gen i3 here is so much powerful than the competition. 3x faster than my old laptop that I had to replace, that was nearly the same price as this 3 years ago.You definitely should spend the 40$ to add an 8GB stick of RAM to the laptop to completely unlock this beast. The only complaint is the screen. It’s simply not good. Not only is it a slightly above 720P screen (pretty low for 2022), the viewing angles and colors are also atrocious. You could remediate this by using a proper screen (usb c!), however that defeats the purpose of a laptop. But it’s very much good enough, just wish it was better.

Day one, and the Ideapad 3 started right up. I’m going to let it charge for a while before I complete the setup. One star deducted for no English setup instructions in the box.Day 3. Just discovered it isn’t a touch screen. No biggie, I hate touch screens anyway. I’m using a small wireless mouse, and it works fine. I’m not sure how much internal memory this unit has, but I just stuck a 64 gb sd card in it so that’ll be fine.I bought this for a specific meeting – to see if I could drive a presentation on a large screen tv without having to bring a full featured laptop or tablet and to see if I’d like a Chromebook better than a tablet. Today, I hooked this little Lenovo Chromebook up to a big screen via the usb c port and it works fine. Had to buy the special cable with the HDMI on the other end but it was inexpensive and it came the next day from Amazon. What I really like about this little gem (if it continues to work…) is that it has regular usb ports as well – 2 of them! My Lenovo M10 tablet has none and thus there’s no way to input or output data via cable. This is proving to be an interesting experiment.

This Chromebook is dirt cheap and would be great for a student on a budget or someone who just needs to use a few apps and browse the internet. I use it as a writing laptop, as I don’t want to take my expensive, bulky gaming laptop all over the place.Despite being plastic, it does seem to be solid. The matte finish is a fingerprint magnet, though it’s not a big deal. The battery life is good, and as far as Chromebook keyboards go, it’s fine to type on and better than some I have encountered in the past. It’s fast enough, though it’s not zippy and will struggle with heavy apps or opening too many at once. The screen is also not exactly beautiful and looks very dated. Still, do you really need a nice screen on a $100 Chromebook? You also need to be aware that Chromebooks basically have an update expiration date, so before you think you’re getting a sweet deal on one, be sure to look up when it will stop receiving updates. I believe this one is good until 2026 or 2027, which is enough time to get enough bang for your buck.If you’re aware of this Chromebook’s limitations, this may be a nice buy. It suits my needs, and honestly I can’t stomach the idea of paying much for a Chromebook in the first place. I won’t feel sick if it gets lost or stolen while I lug it around, but it does what I need it to do well enough.

The audio output is poor, but this can be fixed with a speaker of some sort. My intended use is regular school and home use (email, MS products, browsing, shopping, social media, etc) as well as running software as needed for school (eg MATLAB, SolidWorks). While I have not yet ran any major engineering/computational software, I have played around with the MS Power Automate on this laptop and I saw nothing majorly concerning. Power Automate seems pretty hefty as a software and there was some lag between windows in the software, but I did not see this lag affect performance of anything else (such as browser speed). I think it would stand up decently to gaming, but can’t speak much to that. Audio quality would probably suck if you watch a lot of anime or movies so once again, speakers are a good investment. All in all, I really enjoy the laptop. It was a good price for an i5 core (upgrading from a laggy i3), and it’s nice for students. If you have MS, HS or college kids, relatives, friends — this is a good investment. Again I will see how it holds up against my engineering software, but I have high hopes considering the RAM availability on the laptop. It’s very light (I’m upgrading from a heavy 17incher so I’m very pleased at how portable it is). I’ve used Discord on it with no issues, both on web and in-app. My browser always loads quickly. I have not used the camera yet so I can’t speak on that. One thing I’m getting used to is Windows 11 — it seems like everything defaults to OneDrive and doesn’t actually store on the laptop? I’m not sure but I guess word of caution to where you save important files. I had no issues connecting to home wi-fi. I’ve seen mixed reviews on Lenovo but this is my second laptop with them and I haven’t had any problems. (Well, except the annoying McAfee reminders that interrupt your workflow). There were very few reviews available so it was a risky play buying it, but honestly, I have not been disappointed. I haven’t gotten extensive use out of the laptop, since I haven’t started school again yet, but I would happily give this 5/5 stars (as of 9/2022).

This is a nice laptop but it doesn’t have the AMD R5 5500U processor. It has a one year older Intel i5 which only has 4 cores not the 6 the AMD has. To it’s credit it does have a 512 SSD drive instead of the 256 advertised. It also has Windows 11 (which I HATE) while the product description says W10. At the end of the day I decided to keep it just because the hassle of returning and getting what I paid for wasn’t worth my effort. But the Ryzen is a better, 1 year newer, processor. And I could have stored stuff on a USB if that was an issue. The item comes in a completely blank box. Nothing suggests it came from Lenovo. No documents for setup, warranty or care. Very sketchy all around from this seller and not what I wanted but the i5-10210U which only has 4 cores can handle what I need it for. Just sad Amazon let’s this seller send year old processors (with 2 less cores) out to customers. I guess they just want the sales.

The boys view this laptop like a smart device. It came with Edge preinstalled and they tried to install chrome and a message came up that there is already a browser so why do they need to install one. It’s a bit heavy but has a lot of good features and the speed is excellent in addition to storage. I’m happy with the purchase

I know it’s not supposed to be perfect but it’s not touchscreen which I guess I thought it was supposed to be and it’s not (my mistake) and the space bar key is not very responsive so you have to keep going back to correct missing spaces. It’s almost like it’s more sensitive on the one side more than the other which is not the side (thumb) I’m used to using the space bar. It’s a little heavy and the charging cord is bulky but other than that it works fine.

So in the question/answer section it says that there are 2 slots for your m.2 hard drives. I ordered another m.2 thinking I would upgrade right when device arrived. There aren’t any open m.2 slots so a 2.5 inch was only option and I was told I could do m.2. Pretty disappointed in that. Will update review as I use device and order me a 2.5 inch SSD.

I purchased the Ryzen 5 16gb/256gb variant.I wish I had gotten the variant with more storage (1tb instead of 256gb)… although if I choose to upgrade, I can do it myself since theoretically the M.2 NVMe SSD is able to be replaced.Came with laptop, 65w PD charger, and stylus with AAAA battery. I purchased two accessories (listed at end of review)One USB C port: Supports PD charging up to 65w (charger included but you can use your own if it supports PD) and data transfer at 2.0 speeds. Two USB A ports: both support 3.2 speed, one of them has constant power (intended for charging other devices when laptop is off). One audio jack: headphones out and microphone in use the same port. Plugging in regular headphones is just as normal, no adapters needed. The side mounted power button is hard to hit but you will rarely use it. Even after being shut down, it will turn back on when you open it.Fingerprint reader is quick to recognize your fingerprint. Unlocking the computer after startup is extremely quick.Touchpad is very responsive and features the same tricks we use on our phones (i.e. double tap, scrolling, ect.) For examples on the gestures you can use, search “touchpad gestures”.The screen is bright. Using it in a classroom, office, or outside in the shade is great. Direct sunlight is where it becomes hard to read. The screen folds all the way back. You can use it in any position. Once folded, it will orient itself to the way you’re holding it. Think of how your phone automatically changes it’s orientation if you rotate it.Webcam is decent. I love the privacy slide cover it has. With this I always know that the camera is covered.Keyboard is normal. It’s a laptop keyboard. Clicky but spongy.Battery life is normal for a laptop of this size. Whatever the advertisement says is probably true. I’ve never tested it because I always have it plugged in.GAMING: It can game. I have successfully played Valorant, Fortnite, and Minecraft. It can do it, but don’t expect 1080p at 60fps unless you turn down the games performance.Notes: I purchased these accessories:1. A screen protector called: “Spigen Tempered Glass … (81X20005US)”2. A case called: “mCover case … /5-14ALC05/”3. And put clear tape over the palm rests.

Let me just say that I bought 2 laptops before settling on this one. I needed a good laptop but I didn’t want to pay a lot of money. This one fit the bill. It’s well put together, it’s very responsive. I can watch a movie and work on an excel spreadsheet at the same time with no issues. The display is good. The only complaint I have are the speakers but I bought a cheap speaker that can connect via Bluetooth to solve that problem.

I have only had this laptop for about a month. Overall, I really like it so far and have had no trouble transitioning from Windows 10 to Windows 11, although I don’t give this machine a lot of tasks; it’s my travel computer and my bedside companion.I did have a concern about the battery charging, though, and I want to alert people to the issue. If you don’t want to read this review any further, just please remember to keep the Lenovo Vantage software on your computer in case you need it.First, the laptop ships with a charger that is a small brick with a cable that has a three-prong wall plug and another cable that connects to the USB-C port on the laptop. I used the charger and the battery charged up to 100% with no problems. I had my battery set to “Battery Saver” in the Windows 11 system settings. The laptop does have the older type of round charging port, but you have to buy a separate charger to use it. So that’s what I did; I went to the Lenovo site and bought that charger—which by the way, is not too lightweight itself, but at least it’s more manageable for use on trains and such, and it has the two-prong wall plug.So last night, I decided I had better make sure the additional (travel) charger worked okay. I noticed, though, that my battery was only charging up to 60% of capacity. The charger was powering the machine, but the battery wasn’t filling up. I thought maybe the charger was defective. At that point I switched to the charger that came with the laptop, but with that charger, also, the battery wasn’t charging beyond 60%! Oh, no! At that point, I thought my laptop must be a lemon. I downloaded an additional software from the Lenovo site, Lenovo Diagnostic Tool, and ran a test on the battery. The battery test failed!I remembered that another Amazon customer who had reviewed this laptop had complained that he couldn’t charge his battery beyond 60%. A Lenovo representative responded something about a setting that prevented full loading of the battery to extend battery life if the laptop is kept plugged in. I looked for that setting in the Windows battery settings, and changed my Power Mode setting to Best Performance, but that didn’t help. I could find nowhere in the Windows Settings to get the battery to charge more fully.Eventually, I looked in the Lenovo Vantage software, under More Settings, and found that my machine had been set (not be me, I swear) to Conservation Mode. This setting is only in the Lenovo Vantage software, and is NOT the same as Battery Saver in the Windows settings. Once I changed my laptop from Conservation Mode to Rapid Charger in Lenovo Vantage, my battery started charging again. The purpose of Conservation Mode is to conserve the life of the battery if the laptop is continually kept plugged in. Because that’s how I use the laptop, I will continue to use Conservation Mode, but will try to remember to switch to Rapid Charge mode if I want to take the laptop to another location without taking along a charger.I suspected that the travel charger I purchased separately had somehow triggered the computer to convert from Conservation Mode to Rapid Charge, but that is not the case. If the computer is in Rapid Charge mode, either charger will charge the battery to 100%. If the battery has a charge of less than 60%, and the computer is in Conservation Mode, either charger will charge it to 60%. If the battery has a charge of between 60% and 100%, the computer is then put into Conservation Mode and plugged into either charger, the computer will be powered by the charger but the battery will not be further charged.I hope this review is helpful.

********************BUYER BEWARE******************************There are a few things wrong with this purchase, but there are goods. So the Good, Bad and the Ugly.1. The Computer is not 512GB it’s only 475GB of Ram2. The Computer has no Warranty at All3. The Computer is Used, not New.4. There was no ManualI personally called Lenovo and they advised this computer was sold with no Warranty, that being Said, I now have to buy a Warranty. On 5/6, I called Lenovo’s Ideapad Technical Support for IdeaPad, this call was made at 6:45pm EST. I spoke to Joy. Joy stated that the Manufacturer sold the computer to this seller on 3/3/22 and was sold without a Warranty. A fact not represented on this Seller’s Page. Also, Joy stated that there was no possibility of purchasing an Extended Warranty from Lenovo. I asked Joy, what the classification of this machine was, that being NEW, USED, REHAB. Joy stated this computer was ” Used” and identified that way from Lenovo. That being Said, I was misled by the Seller. I will add, the Computer does look ” Brand New” and appears to be in like New Condition. The Computer seems to be functioning very well, however, again, NO WARRANTY! This is an additional Cost to me. THE SELLER DID NOT STATE THIS ON HIS WEB SITE. I HAVE ALREADY REPORTED THIS TO AMAZON. THE SELLER MUST BE REIMBURSE ME AND RENGOTIATE THE COST OF THIS MACHINE AND PURCHASE A WARRANTY FOR IT. THIS MACHINE DOES NOT HAVE ANY BUILD IN OFFICE 10 OR 11 OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT, JUST TRIALS.

I needed a laptop quickly for work as mine decided to meltdown and I didn’t have a ton of money to spend. Since nearly everything for my job is done in Chrome and I rarely use an actual computer anymore for anything other than work and uploading photos to Google Photos, I figured this would work out fine.I know a lot of people voiced complaints about these older refurbished Chromebooks but honestly I don’t know why. As long as you understand what you’re getting and it doesn’t arrive busted there shouldn’t be any issue. The thing runs perfectly well. Likely as well as it did brand new, which is not as well as an ACTUAL new laptop would run, but I wasn’t looking for anything cutting edge, just something that would work. I did load up a few games on it that I’d normally play on my phone or tablet just to see how they did. Mostly they performed well. Here are my two complaints:1. The camera is absolutely terrible. I don’t feel like looking up the actual specs, but it’s bad. In this age of video meetings I wind up looking like a fuzzy ghost. I suppose it’s nice for those days I look less than presentable, who would know? Heh It’s not a big deal, just sort of annoying. Everyone keeps asking me to focus and clean my camera.2. There actually were specs listed for it being a touch screen and even on this review it asked me to rate the touch screen, but either it isn’t one or the touch screen is broken. I don’t NEED it to be one, but since I was expecting it I was a little disappointed. The biggest selling point for this thing I’d say is the keyboard. It’s very comfortable to type on, a good size, very responsive, I’ve been quite happy with it. I have to type a LOT, so it’s very important to me that it be comfortable.

I originally ordered an HP Envy, which was delivered but did not include the numeric keypad I needed, as it was pictured and described on Amazon, so I had to return it. I looked everywhere and couldn’t find one with the numeric keypad, so I had to explore other options. I settled for this computer and it is okay, but very underwhelming. The battery life is quite short and extremely disappointing. Even with the screen turned down, keyboard lighting off, and set on power saving I can only get about 4-6 hours of use on a charge. I had issues with the charger not charging the first week I owned the computer and had to contact Lenovo for a replacement, which they never sent me. Luckily I found a solution on my own, but I never should have needed to.It has issues working correctly with the Google Chrome browser, which I use heavily for my employer and even though it isn’t my personal first choice of browser it is a necessary evil for me. I use Chrome on multiple Windows-based computers and have never had the issues I have had with this one. I contacted Lenovo for support, but they wanted me to buy an additional package for customer service even though I had just bought the computer and had it less than 30 days, or they would talk to me for a fee. I understand that long-term support would cost extra, but I do feel that initial support should be provided.Just my opinion as a customer.I also get continuous pop-ups for Lenovo to scan my computer and tell me what issues it has, which it does and then say I can get the results for $29.99/year. I am not a fan.The USB ports are tight and are difficult to get devices in and out of.The processing speed is OK. I do like the feel of the keyboard, and the display is of acceptable quality.I don’t really use the touch screen as much as I thought I would and probably wouldn’t bother getting one again.Overall, this is a much lower quality computer than I expected. The battery life is really the most extremely disappointing thing about it at this point. I would definitely recommend that you choose a different option if this is still selling anywhere close to the $1000 mark. This machine is more comparable to others that sell for about half the price in my opinion.

Having owned a Lenovo in the past and not necessarily being thrilled with previous models from this brand, I have to say that with this model, they have really shined through and upgraded to what I feel, the average consumer needs and is looking for. Their laptop is sleeker, more unique (as far as the color) and lightweight. I love the ‘silence’ and the responsiveness of the keys while typing. My webcam was used for the first time today for an online conference and worked well. But one thing that I really do love about Lenovo is the price point of their product. It is more attractive (to me) because it is so affordable compared to other brands without sacrificing those items that we look for in a pc to work productively. As long as Lenovo keeps up the quality, the upgrades AND keeps it affordable, I’ll be back to purchase from them again…..

Light weight, quick and easy operation, and touchscreen features are on point. The only drawback that I have found is the edges on the bottom corners below the keyboard are sharp and I am a transcriptionist and spend many hours typing. It tends to hurt after a while. I also purchased a Dell external DVD burner separately due to the fact that I have many programs on disks that needed installed. Works perfectly.

With the specs, expect this to be a very basic entry level laptop in terms of performance. The i3 processor is plenty of horsepower for everything school or office. The limit here though is the 4GB of RAM and the 128GB SSD. That means what you really can do with this is surf the web and do some homework which is what we needed it for. It also handles YouTube TV / YouTube videos fine. You are not going to be able to game on this or edit videos.Out of the box there isn’t a lot of do other than plug in the power supply and turn it on. The setup takes you through the Windows 10 setup with it’s seemingly endless screens of questions. I found that during this setup process, the laptop felt very slow. Once completed, you will still need to go to the Windows Update and finish updating the laptop. It was very sluggish during this process as well. Once all the updates were install however, it seemed much more responsive. Several updates were needed including Windows 10 2H20.The first thing I needed to do was install Google Chrome so the laptop could be used for schoolwork since the school uses Google Classroom. This is when I remembered the laptop ships with Windows 10 S mode. Windows 10 S mode means it’s limited to installing apps from the Microsoft Store. I am not sure if Google Chrome is in the Microsoft Store. I do know it tried to convince me several times not to install Chrome because Edge is better. But, taking it out of S mode was no big deal. You just acknowledge that you want to do so and it’s done. It doesn’t seem to need to install anything special to do that.I’ve setup MANY PCs and laptops in my life, including the hundreds I’ve built myself. My annoyance with off-the-shelf PCs has always been all the extras they ship with that I end up needing to uninstall. I was VERY impressed that Lenovo doesn’t do that. It’s quite the opposite actually. They leave all the cruft uninstalled and give you the option of installing it. That was a fantastic move on the part of Lenovo. Bravo. The laptop hardware itself feels substantial. It’s actually a bit heavier than I was expecting. It feels quite a bit heavier than the Microsoft Surface Laptop (v1) that we have. But it feels solid not plasticky and cheap. The keyboard feels nice and the screen doesn’t feel like it’s going to break off when you fold it back into tablet mode. The awkward thing about tablet mode though is why you’re holding it, you’re pressing all the keys on the backside. The keyboard automatically turns off in tablet mode but it still feels weird. The dark grey color is nice and the sharp edges and overall thinness of the laptop give it a nice look.Performance-wise is where this is lacking. You just have to know what you’re getting with 4GB of RAM and 128GB SSD. With regards to the SSD, after formatting and Windows 10 you’re left with around 80GB free. That’s not much more than my iPhone. Since we’re using it mostly for school work, surfing and watching YouTubeTV/Netflix/etc. and we have a file server for the house, it doesn’t really matter. It’s really the 4GB that drags this down. And there’s no way to pop it open and upgrade it.Overall though, it’s going to fit the need. And we just needed something that didn’t feel cheap, had a touch screen and would be fast enough for Google Classroom and on-line videos/TV. When I got a laptop for my wife for her business though I went with and i5/8GB RAM/512GB SSD and you can really tell the difference in how quick the browser comes up and how many tabs you can have open. You need to match the hardware to your “use case” and despite the low specs, this one fits ours just fine without getting a Chromebook (that wasn’t going to happen!).

I am impressed by this laptop. I was expecting less performance given its specs, but its actually quite good.It is running a 3Ghz Tiger Lake Core I3 and 4 GB 1600 MHz of RAM. The RAM is really where I think this laptop could be better. If this had 8GB or RAM, I would have given it 5 stars. I thought that maybe I could use ReadyBoost to supplement the RAM, but ReadyBoost apparently is not supported when the PC has an SSD. I decided to define my own Pagefile of 12 GB and to not allow it to resize itself. Sure, I loose some storage in doing so, but this laptop needs some RAM. Since the 4GB is soldered on and the user cannot upgrade it, the Pagefile was the only way to go. Besides the lack of RAM, everything else is great.I bought the separately-sold Lenovo Active Pen 2 for this and the writing experience is good. If you write slowly, you won’t notice any lag between where you pen touches the screen and where the line is drawn. If you write faster you will see some slight lag (or gap onscreen between where the pen is and what you just wrote). Overall, it is good enough for writing. The keyboard is solid. I use a Thinkpad at work, and have used Thinkpads for years. This laptop keyboard feels like 90% as good as the Thinkpad keyboard. If you close your eyes, you might even think you were on a Thinkpad. There is no red eraser style Thinkpad pointer nub on this laptop. The trackpad is a nice size and I don’t feel like I need the massive size of a Macbook trackpad. It is the “diving board” style, where it clicks physically at the bottom half of the trackpad, but not at the top. Of course, tap touching works all over. What surprised me the most was its single-core Geekbench 5 score. It scored a 1284 for the single-core and 2450 for the multi-core score. I ran Geekbench 5 a total of three times after the laptop had been on for a few minutes. Those were the best scores I recorded for this laptop. So this Core I3 is no slouch, but it is only a dual-core. For comparison, my Dell XPS 13 (model 9310), running a 4-core Tiger Lake Core I7 scored a 1546 single core and 5628 multicore. The color is a very nice dark grey. The top feels like metal and the bottom feels like plastic. You cannot upgrade the ram, but you are supposed to be able to swap out the m.2 NVME ssd. The bottom cover can be unscrewed for this. I have not done so.After being fully updated to the latest Windows Updates, I have 64GB of 117 GB free.Mine came with a barrel-style charger, but I have been charging over USB-C with no issues.Overall, I am quite happy with it. I wish it had more RAM, but if you try not to multitask too much, Windows seems to be ok with it.

I am not a great tech person but I know what I like in a laptop and that is speed and efficacy which this Lenovo laptop definitely delivers. Fast startup. Easy navigation and accuracy with the screen touch. In my opinion, the screen quality isn’t that bad and movies are great to watch (I’m a Netflix and documentary fan). Works well for business and school. Had to escape the SMode though. There are some limitations when in that mode but that’s a personal choice when it comes to that as it works the battery and shortens the life a bit… nevertheless, I will recommend!

I love the laptop! The down side is if grip Microsoft has on Windows 10, beware of Windows 10 S unless you are a total lover of Microsoft. I do publishing and prefer my own choices of programs. I removed the S feature but lost some other Microsoft features, I don’t like others making choices for me! The Levono technology is super and I am pleased with the product for it own capabilities and will find work arounds for Microsoft. Buyer beware of Windows 10 S.

This laptop is plain & simple, it gets the job done for me in many ways as a college student. It’s light which makes it very easy for me to carry around in my backpack or laptop case.I also like how the screen edges looking on from the sides are thin giving it that slim look even when the laptop is closed as well. Now this is a chromebook obviously so don’t expect that windows experience, it’s just a plain ol’ simple laptop that gets the job done for my simple needs plus having the Google Play Store is a plus. The screen is good, not Full HD but a 1366 x 768; Display Type: HD Anti-Glare 14′ inch screen is good enough for me, the speakers are okay they have a 25 volume level & having it turned all the way up does get really loud but the quality of the sound does go down so I keep it at a reasonable 15-20 volume level with having an okay quality sound, also having earphone or headphones are recommendly good for this laptop. The brightness has 16 levels & it does get pretty bright at the highest level even using it outdoors with the sun out the display is visibly good thanks to the anti-glare normally i keep it at a 10.The battery life is good to although I wouldn’t mind having an extra 3 hour battery life since this does give you a max of 11 but it makes up for that with its fast charging. As for the HDMI, when I connected to my TV it displayed at full HD 1080p but when I would play videos off of this laptop the audio would still come out from the laptop itself & not from my TV.All in general, this is a good laptop to have for its basic needs, general casual web browsing & watching videos plus the webcam is okay quality.

Keyboard letters are so faint you can’t see them. I know it is refurbished but this is a big problem. If you can type without looking at the keyboard then I guess it’s not a problem but if like me you need to see the letters then you should not buy this one.

Your mileage may vary a little on these. Be aware that these are definitely refurbished. We purchased 4 of these for a teacher. Cosmetically, they are flawless, but I had to send one back due to a non-working touch pad. A second was stuck asking for Enterprise Enrollment, which means someone had used it in a G Suite domain that locked the firmware into Enterprise only. Fortunately, I know how to enter Developer’s mode on Chromebooks, or I’d have had to send that one back as well. Fortunately, Amazon is great for allowing returns, so I sent one back and bought another to replace it.

I use it to pay bills online and other web based tasks.Update after 5 months of useI still use this every week to pay bills and occasional nextflix viewing for the kids. My primary use turns out to use this to connect to my companies VDI infrastructure using the horizon client. This however is mostly at night where a backlight keyboard would be awesome. The screen is showing its limitations in daily use.In hindsight, if I where in the same posistion I would buy this laptop again at this price. Now with my shift in laptop use I would look for a device with better screen and keyboard. If this were for a child I would easily recommend this.
