Was looking for a “brown ” pla filament, this is more of a burnt orange 🍊 color, haven’t printed with it yet and will update a I get there , waiting on my true brown to run out mid print to add this one in

First of all its way to expensive!! I had nothing but problems with this stuff, and no, I’m not new, yes I know what I’m doing. With such a small roll I hated wasting some on a temp tower but didn’t have a choice. There was no recommended temp on the roll and my first attempt at a print at 200 came out like dookie so temp tower it is. If I recall 205 was the sweet spot but even then I was getting little blips and blobs on the surface. Played around with my settings and by the time I got it to where it printed half way decent the roll was gone.So basically I wasted almost the entire roll tweaking the settings, eventually I was able to get a half way decent set of d&d dice for my niece but I was NOT happy with the end result at all!!It wasn’t damp, I did a snap test and it seemed fine it just didn’t print well. I’ve had much better results from cheap no-name brands than this crap. Will never buy again, what a waste

The color in these looks great and the prints came out perfectly accurate. I went through these pretty quickly given the size but because of where I have my printer the smaller reels like this are necessary for me. Overall, I’d definitely buy from them again and enjoyed this filament.

I had 0 problems with this filament. It worked great right out of the box! Some filament takes some fine tuning, but it printed perfectly using stock pla settings. No issues with brittleness, breaking, or tangles. This stuff should be more expensive, it’s even better than some of the more expensive stuff I’ve bought.

While this is my first foray into Silk PLA, I have been unable to get a clean print despite many repeated efforts, I have lowered temperature as low as 180 and slowed print speed but still I can’t get a smooth surface and any attempt at details are a stringy mess. The pink color is not as shown- it is a light Barbie pink and not the raspberry color depicted. I have used Gizmodork’s other products with good success but this is horrible. I would not buy again.

Glow in the dark filament I expensive compared to the basic price of filament as this i would of liked it to have more in it for the price but I bought some cheaper stuff and it didn’t even glow like this did.

great product looks amazing, only issues i had at all was that it absorbed moisture really fast vs other filaments from gizmodorks, so got brittle very fast

I just received this and I haven’t had much time to work with this filament. I will say though that the black plastic spool my filament came on will not withstand any drying, even at low temps like 70 C. A high temp spool will be needed to dry this filament in any capacity.

If I would not of used the blue and yellow I would return itThe rose color spool clogged printer 2 times in less the 40 grams of filament threw it awayBlue and yellow print very wet for pla with a ton of bubbles and gathers water way to fastCan’t take it out of the dryer box to print 1 thing without bubbles half way threw from wet printingHave not used green yetWould not buy again

I got this as a sample of different colors rather than buying full-sized spools of each color as I usually print in either black or white and then paint my prints. I found the filament to give good results overall. I had no issues with printing any of the colors – all printed well with my standard printing process and settings. The colors are nice – just as pictured here. The orange is a bit cream-sickle, and I would have preferred a larger value (darker color) but that’s just a minor concern. I used the orange to print some custom prototyping stations and they turned out wonderfully, so no harm, no foul. The red and blue are strong, mid-value colors, and the green is very sap green (if you are familiar with watercolor paint) It works wonderfully for making Minecraft blocks, where the slightly cartoonish green works perfectly. Each spool is individually packaged with desiccant, and arrived in good shape and ready to print. It’s PLA, so moisture retention is not as big a concern as other materials, but it is simple to dry any filament in a few hours if needed. The spool size is small, as you would expect, and I plan on using the empties for holding remainders of other filaments once these are used up.I would certainly buy this again as the results were very good and it saved me quite a bit over purchasing full spools of colors that I would not likely use up.

It’s overall I have no complaints about this PLA. It’s fairly easy to use as a nice, smooth finish and the color change of effect is striking (takes approximately 10 minutes to go from hot to cold, or white to blue) pics attached show what it looks like after it’s been warmed up as it’s changing colors and finally when it fully changes. That being said, there are a few things I wanted to say about this plastic:- spool ride with no indication of what the suggested temperature range should be. Fortunately, I was able to look in the Amazon listing descriptions and I found it… But this is kind of annoying since every major filament maker always puts a temperature suggestion ON the spool- print temperature is very important, So if you want to get good quality prints without excessive stringing, out of this one: decrease your temperature to the lower end of the spectrum (205 & under). My 205 print was perfect but when I printed it at 210° with the same design and setting, I got a lot of stringing and blobbing.- keep your speed down (60mm/s or slower)- This filament is extremely EXTREMELY sensitive to environment So you will need to keep the stuff bagged as soon as you’re done using it or make sure you You have a filament dryer. This filament arrived yesterday evening and I put it on the machine immediately and started printing, The first print was fawless. Loved it…I left the filament on the printer loaded because I knew I was going to print something else. So approximately 3 hours from when I first loaded it onto my machine and it already absorbed moisture in the air and when I printed the second part I heard snap crackle and popping as it was extruding my first lady…. and as everybody knows that means that the filament has absorbed moisture… Which is crazy because it’s only usually happens if you leave a plastic outside in the elements for daysSo after being out of the packet for about 3 hours, moisture ALREADY started to be absorbed in this filament and my house is pretty low humidity with a constant ambient temperature of about 70 to 75° in the room where the printer is at all times. So you can easily have a wonderful experience with this filament as long as you: mind your print settings and remember to store this thing In an airtight enclosure and find a way to use a filament dryer on it to ensure you won’t have any problems.

I bought this filament because I needed blue. It’s perfect for that. The only downside is it seems like the blue dye is more sticky than other colors. It took a lot of white filament running through my hot end before the blue color completely went away.

I was caught by the bad filament loading. I print some larger things – went to bed and woke up to a misprint and stuck filament due to the way the wheel was loaded. Because of the size of the wheel it really sucks to loose that much filament. I know that you can unwind it and reload it – but really? Disappointed .

This is my first bad review ever in my life and I love leaving good reviews… I am fairly new to the 3-D printing world so I’ve been trying different brands… I’m going to assume this was not your guy’s fault but I will certainly not be putting this roll into my printer. The spool came without a single bag or paper or shrink wrap or anything. It was simply put in a beat up box with huge opening. the filament is not even put into a support hole and has unwound. It is incredibly dusty. I only bought it because the item description said it came with a specific resealable shrink wrap bag. No where to be found.. A bit misleading.. I kinda needed this today to for RSA…. I don’t know what happened guys but this stinks.Edit. Amazon has resolved the issue. Thank you!

The media could not be loaded. Prints perfectly. Strong. Not brittle. Layer lines are hidden. Sort of muted and calm colors that look classy, and/or expensive. It’s good for any kind of print and doesn’t string. It bridges well and works great for print in place stuff like the snake lures. The pics are of both the blue and gray glitter on this listing. Some tips though- it absorbs humidity really fast. I can’t print a single spool for more than around 3 days before having to dry it. How I know is that after the third night, it will snap off at the extruder. I also don’t print this with the fan on at all. Another tip is to use nozzle cleaning filament after every print with this – especially if you are using a .4 nozzle or it will clog. I wouldn’t print on a smaller nozzle. .5 is better.I print this at 205 with a 60C bed in open enclosure and no fan. I’m using a direct drive bondtech+mosquito setup with a vanadium nozzle and a pei spring steel bed surface.

Filament printed well for me @210 with a build plate @60 on my Ender 5 Pro. The problem is the spool is so poorly wound that I have to babysit it while it is printing or else it will get tangled on itself and eventually stop feeding. It is really unfortunate too because the color change is fun and I would have certainly ordered more had the spool been neatly wound.

I’m relatively new to the 3-D printing world, having purchased my FlashForge printer in November. Since then, I and my enthusiastic 13 year old have printed many projects and purchased many different types of filament from multiple manufacturers. Gizmo Dorks filaments are the best in the business, in my (admittedly limited) opinion. Consistently good adhesion, good performance, smooth texturing make them a winner. Plus, the size of these spools fits nicely inside the FlashForge, which is a plus.

We’ve found PLA filaments to be very hit-or-miss in quality. This glow-in-the-dark filament is overall one of our favorites from every angle. It has great adherence, great print quality, is a good value, and heck, it GLOWS IN THE DARK. Yes, it actually works and it works pretty darn well.Comes highly recommended.

Once dialed in this material is very rigid and temperature resistant. More so than any other material I have tried. So it is a must have for printing parts for your printer anywhere near the hot end if you have a heated build chamber and print high temp materials regularly. The PC blends tend to deform over time and you have to keep printing new parts to keep the machine dialed in. I took away 2 stars for how badly the spool was wound. It is tangly and give resistance to the point of intermittent under extrusion and even creates layer lines throughout the print in the z axis as the resistance from the spool tugs upward on the hot end (direct drive) making it flex ever so slightly temporarily increasing offset and then the spool loosens up and it returns to normal position creating a squished subsequent layer. I did not get good prints until I Re-spooled the filament BY HAND! It took over an hour!I found layer adhesion improved all the way up to 335c. If you are buying this for real pc strength, be warned you will not get that strength unless your machine can go north of 300c.I used purple glue stick on freshly sanded garolite at 105c and got great adhesion. Be sure to let the glue stick bake for 4-5 minutes before starting your print.Print some temp towers and keep increasing the temperature until the print quality starts to diminish and then dial back slightly from that. Bam! Insanely strong parts with the highest temp resistance of a thermoplastic short of peek. Hope this helps.Gizmodorks, this material is amazing, having to completely re-spool it by hand to get it to print properly is unacceptable.**Edit: this stuff really likes to warp. It will even crack itself once you have convinced it to stay put on the build plate. I have had to go as far as redesigning parts to combat the warping and incorporating anchor feet and break away hook anchors that extend to the build plate with feet and grab on to the support material (uncheck “supports on build-plate only”) holding the part down while it prints. I have also bumped up my nozzle temp to 335c. Again, this material is a beast and blows away anything I’ve used. But if you are not prepared to engineer your parts specifically to print with this materials extreme properties, then this is not the material for you**

I have people asking me for this color and gizmo dorks is the only one making pink translucent pla! Its good filament. Nowadays filament is a refined commodity & everything out there at $20/kg is equally good. People who post bad reviews with quality issues usually are angry newbies.Update: the purple is freaking gorgeous!

I bought this to print grave markers for my fire department. I wanted Bronze look to the markers because Its what we previously bought and stands out. THEY PRINT GREAT. Color is great they look clean and they have nearly 0 issue when printing. My only negative is how brittle this filament is. Once printed its fine no issues but sitting on spool and feeding it snaps within 5 minutes of print completing. very annoying.

While it is a bit dull, it should be good for simple prints like something with a usb or blue led inside to help it glow, and it stays put in the bed really well. However the glow is kinda “meh”, if you pre load the model with a blue laser pointer or a Uv led then it will glow well for a few seconds then it drops off pretty quickly. I wasn’t impressed by its glow.

I bought this product to use in my Ender pro. It was a good bundle at a nice price and I decided I wanted to try it. The problem is the filament is too big to fit in my extruder so basically useless to me. Sadly a lot of time passed so I cannot return it but be aware before you buy this and make sure it will really fit your machine.

Given how this product is advertised, I picked up a roll to see if it can be a decent general purpose filament. The first problem I ran into is that it’s bed adhesion is very poor. I use printbite for my beds and it’s never failed to stick to a filament. If anything it sticks too well to some filaments, but it’s never failed to stick to something. After cranking the bed temp up above ABS temps, I got some bed adhesion–enough to allow a small print. It took three attempts to print a 4.5mm tall print. I tested the failed prints for strength. They failed horribly. This plastic is very weak. It’s like ABS meets candle wax. It’s soft to the touch–you can dent it with a thumb nail. I easily tore the model apart with my hands. I’ve never used a plastic this weak before and that includes polymorph. This plastic is simply not suitable for general purpose use. It’s too weak and the bed adhesion is too low. I’m afraid this filament is really only suitable as a dissolvable support material. In which case, it doesn’t make sense to have multiple colors of it.Please don’t choose this product if you are looking for a general purpose filament for 3d printing.

I was a little worried when I started to unspool the first few inch of this plastic to load into my printer, it didnt fell as sturdy and was kind of wavy from where it was unevenly wrapped on the spool. After watching the first few layers I felt way better about it. The adhesion was good and i didn’t see any signs of failure. The color change needs a little help from the refrigerator to turn it back to purple but after its been cooled down stay purple for quite some time. Over all happy with my purchase and will be buy a few other colors of this plastic.

I think as far as HIPS goes the mechanical properties are pretty standard: very stiff, very lightweight, somewhat liable to warping on the build plate even at 110C but not as bad as ABS. Actually the weight threw me off, you probably get much more filament than you’re expecting from the 1kg net weight if you’re used to PLA or PETG (not sure about ABS.)The orange isn’t quite all the way to “neon” orange but it does glow orange under blacklight. It’s almost as if it’s 20% white and 80% orange dye. 0.8mm and thinner sections are ever-so-slightly translucent.I originally bought this with the hope that I could use it for support material for PETG, since I couldn’t find much information on supporting PETG. Turns out it sucks for that, you really want PVA instead. The other issue I had is it absolutely does warp at the base on any large long prints on my dual-extrusion printer (Hictop D3) that has a print bed that’s firmware limited to 100C (it shuts off if you hit it), and can only reach that if you insulate the bottom of the bed to begin with. My heavily-modified Ender 3 (with SKR 1.3 controller board) with a garolite bed easily reaches 110C and I may try 120-130C soon to see if I can get rid of that last bit of warping.I’ve been using the HIPS as its own material since then and I almost like it better than PETG for anything structural, which was my main purpose for the PETG to begin with. No stringing at all, bridges fairly well, and it can be smoothed with limonene the same way you’d smooth ABS with acetone, but without having to deal with the toxicity of acetone. I think HIPS is also supposed to be more chemically resistant and more UV-resistant than ABS but not as much as ASA, though it’s tremendously cheaper than ASA.The only thing I think I could ask for is some fluorescent translucent filaments from Gizmodorks, similar to 3D Solutech’s “See Through” PETG line. I think I’ll be buying the neon pink and green next.

I have purchased many 1kg spools from Gizmo Dorks over the years, but I had some big (50 hour+) prints to do and bought 2 of these big rolls to not have to deal with filament changes. Between 20-30 hours in, print quality dropped off severely (rough surface, spongy infill – symptomatic of moisture in the PLA) and I had to toss the prints (see pics)Tried my 2nd roll – had the same problem.I re-printed the same parts w/ Overture PLA and the results were perfect. I would try and return this item, but it took 1/4-1/2 of each before the problem occurred. Anyway, $200 down the drain. I will either switch to Overture, or if I use GizmoDorks again I will stay with 1kg spools. As an experiment, I warmed 1 roll in the oven for a few hours @ 170F to see if I could get some of the water out. Results pending. But you should not have to do this for a new purchase.

I had been using this same filament as part of a multipack and it was a 200g roll. Worked great and i have pretty good mini-sized prints with it. Bought a full 1 kg roll and I cant get the stuff the print with any decent quality. Constantly underextruded surfaces, even when I’m getting too much squish on the first layer because my nozzle is too close to my bed it seems to have a problem adhering well to itself. I get a lot if pimpling and bumps on the sides of prints. Prints often warp off the bed unless a brim is used. I’ve played with bed temp, nozzle temp, flow rate, print speed, retraction speed and distance to name a few that have helped a bit. However nothing comes close to the quality of the first roll of 200g green I had previously.Edit: The manufacturer shipped me a replacement roll and it prints great. I must have gotten a bad roll

Update: I have had this spool for almost 3 years now. Everything I have printed with it is still in service, and the filament is still good. I am updating my review before buying another spool. I switched printers twice. I have great luck printing with this directly on a steel sheet (the back side of my PEI plate) with magigoo PC on a 120c bed.I read all of the reviews of gizmodorks polycarbonate before buying and came up with a few conclusions.1. Most of the negative reviews sound like people who don’t understand the differences of printing with polycarbonate.2. Moisture is a big problem, expect to have to dry the filament. That said, theey seem to have addressed the packaging complaints, mine came very well vacuum sealed. It doesn’t seems to have absorbed any moisture. As far as printing, it’s been very nice. It seems to run a bit small, but you should calibrate every spool of filament.I’m running this at 285 on a 120 degree bed at 60-80 mm/s out of a 0.4 nozzle on an e3dv6 on a rostock max v2 with an accelerometer bed probe. The print surface is pei with glue stick on it. I had a small adhesion problem, so I added a 5mm brim and haven’t had any issues since. It basically prints like abs, just hotter. I haven’t gotten my bridging settings nailed yet, I suspect it needs to bridge at a higher speed to let it cool a bit faster, but it isn’t terrible at the 20mm/sec bridge speed I’m using.I also haven’t noticed it looking purple like some people have said.Attached are a couple of images of a cnc bit fan I printed with this. Came out really nice!

These 200g spools are a great size to test colors before you buy a bigger spool. I’ve used GizmoDorks filament before and it works well. I was equally happy with these, except for the Glitter Blue. It was brittle and the finished product didn’t look great. It was brittle and was difficult to use. The other three (White Marble, Glow Green, and Green/Yellow Color Changing) were awesome. I’d give it a five across if it weren’t for that glitter blue. But over all, I have yet to be disappointed with Gizmo Dorks overall.

Bought this for my PowerSpec Pro 2.0 (Same thing as Flash Forge Creator Pro, just MicroCenter branded) dual extruder printer. Bought this to use as a Support Material. From reviews on YouTube and other sites I did not have much hope for it as the notion was that it does not stick to the base material thus would require to be anchored directly to the table. In my case, I printed couple of parts and was happy to find that it actually does stick to the base material pretty well ( I printed with PLA as structural and HIPS as support). On first part with 90Deg overhangs I had both materials anchored to the table and it worked very well. On the second part (a ball bearing) I had features where HIPS was attached only to the PLA material and the balls were suspended completely by HIPS and it worked very well also. Nothing came apart during the print and was in tact. I ran PLA at 205C and HIPS at 240C. Relatively easy to remove, had to use some solvent in some corners. On flat areas can be pried off with small knife.Overall, I would say it’s a good balance of adhesion (on the PLA for sure) to provide solid support and release for removal. The remnants are easily removed with Solvent.

The plastic is good, I have no complaints with the actual filament itself, or the construction of the spool it is on. My only complaint is ive had to deal with TWO tangles in it so far. Easy enough to snip off the filament from the printer , unravel the tangle and reinsert the filament, But if your planning on large scale prints, or are using this on a giant machine that needs a constant feed of plastic, this might be a big issue.

Needed to do some glow-in-the-dark printing, and gave this a shot. Initial results with a .2mm nozzle were bad, due to the phosphorus crystals clogging the tip. If you’re getting crumbly, brittle, partial prints, you’ve likely clogged the nozzle. Switching up to .5mm was a completely different experience. It printed smoothly, glow was good to very good. Plastic is hard, but not brittle. Followed up the short project with a larger, more complex object (hypnotoad). Results were good, and I’d got with this again if I didn’t need to get the detail that a smaller nozzle provides.Note that phosphorus will wear out your brass print heads. Use plated or better if you’re going to be using a lot of this.

I’ve only done a few prints so far but so far so good, I haven’t had any problems with printing. After shining the light on the print the glow in the dark really works well. Happy with this product!

I’m conflicted… The Gizmo Dorks filament printed better than Inland and Matterhackers but does not survive open air storage nearly as well. From Gizmo Dorks, I got smoother surfaces and better overhangs, I could tighten up the tolerances in my designs and get tighter mechanically fit parts out of this. But only half the spool could be used before the spool became “crispy”. It starts to break off in the bowden tube as the filament gets straightened out. You can see that half the filament is green and the other half starts to become white, as if there are microscopic cracks/stresses forming. The other brands didn’t print as nicely but they never go bad.So conflicted… Gizmo Dorks got me a much tighter fit on a printed moving mechanism, it’s impressive how much better it performed, but half of the spool is now useless because it just cracks before it even hits the extruder.Yes, I do have an air-tight “dry box” with a dehumidifier and a sealed filament feed tube, I use it for my nylon and ABS spools only. We all have an insane amount of colorful PLA so it’s just not practical to store PLA in dry boxes. The color of this green resembles a green apple flavored jolly ranger

I ordered this color pack as I had never purchased any Gizmodorks products before. I have only used the black and white so far, but they have printed great! I am only printing relatively small pieces on a MP Select mini, but they look amazing. No bumps, pocks or anything. Great bed adhesion as well. The only complaint I have so far is the construction of the spool itself. There is a ridge that is on the inside of the spool that makes it sit slanted on my the holder. It has no effect on printing so far, but it is mildly annoying to see the spool on an angle. 🙂

At work we have an Ultimaker 2+ — I was having so much fun with it I got myself a Lulzbot Mini for myself at home. This Gizmo Dorks GITD PLA is the first stuff I’m using – seems more finicky than the PLA work has on the Ultimaker. I’ve discovered at least for me, 220C nozzle temp and 60C bed temp is working well. I print a Brim which is making the pieces lift off easier.

As a retired engineer, I have learned that I thing you should always do is to limit the numbers of changes/variables you make when evaluating/testing something. Since it’s relatively new, 3D printing is loaded with variables – the printer, the filament, the settings, the print. So, what do you do? I’ve used several filament brands in the last year or two. I’ve just ordered my third 3D printer. Sounds crazy? Well, I remember many years ago when Ink Jet Printers were coming of age. I think I ordered quite a number of them for improvements so I wanted to progress faster. Maybe I have more money than brains!I have used several filament brands from Amazon. Most of the time it was because I wanted a color that was not available elsewhere. I understand that “cost” is a concern of others. I would say that I have had much less trouble with GD filaments (and it’s cheaper). The trouble with some can be that the filament does not print. That is, the extruder is “jammed”, and you need to unclog. This is not too much trouble, but can take a day or two soaking the extruder in Acetone. It’s just one of those things, like “changing your oil” in your car (who does that anymore?).So, try other filaments if you want. My main recommendation is that you stick with one until you prove it’s good or bad for your situation. For now, until I prove it bad, I will stick with GD.3D filament will eventually become like “Scotch Tape” – anyone can make it. For now, however, those that are “first adopters”, maybe you should choose a filament brand while you debug the rest of your hardware and software. So, I’m riding this horse for now.

This is the first ABS filament I have used, so I have no basis for comparison other than PLA, which is not too fair to compare to, so I’ll try not toFirst, it is pretty tough to work with because it doesn’t stick to the print bed. If this is your first ABS filament too, be prepared to also buy kapton tape and also use acetone juice to make stick. Do a youtube search and you’ll figure it out.Once you get the ABS to stick, the things I’ve printed are really tough. They are a bit flexible, but really tough. Something odd is that the filament roll is black, but when you print something it’s more like pine green. Again, I have no other experience with this type of filament, so I don’t know if it’s normal, but just so you know. You may have to print with 80% or less fan speed or you may get heater errors. Also, I don’t think it works with any extrude size less than .6 because they clog. I got it to work with .6 and .8. Maybe at higher temperature (I use 210), but you’ll have to play with your fan speed again.Shipping was not great. I had to order this twice because the first time seems to have been lost or stolen by UPS staff. The box was half open, which really appeared to have been pried open at the tape. I was there when they deliver it, so I know it wasn’t opened while on my porch.I give it 4 stars because I cannot compare this with something equal and because of the shipping and discoloration.

I have a few colors of Gizmo Dorks PLA in 3mm. I have had good results with all of them, so far.Being PLA, there’s a little translucence to this white, but once I properly purged the previous color (in the case of my test print, orange), I got a nice, clean white color for my test. I sell my 3D printing services online, and I always have confidence to hit “Go” and leave the house with this stuff printing. I highly recommend it as a filament brand (I like their ABS, too).My setup is a Lulzbot TAZ 4 (with a Hexagon hot end, so a 4.5, really). PET film on a heated bed. I print at a nozzle temperature of 240C and a bed temperature of 95C. As long as I have a clean bed, I don’t have to add anything to get the filament to stick. I’ve achieved 100 micron layer heights with Gizmo Dorks PLA filament, though I imagine I could go to 50 like I have with their ABS.

The filament appears to print well; came out a little on the small size at around 1.72mm, but that can be accounted for in software. The color change works very well. It will depend on many things, like the parameters of your print as well as your body physics if you’re trying to get it to change by hand; that’s not really the plastic’s fault. If you let it sit in the sun (and it’s not cold out), that will easily change it, and then setting a cold drink on it pretty much changes it back within seconds. The color varies from yellow with a tinge of green in it at its hottest to a green-blue when cold, so obviously there’s an active blue element that is mixed into yellow filament.Didn’t notice any issues with printing other than needing to tighten up on the raft settings.

I guess too many people complained about the color…I just got another roll of this and it is DARK CHOCOLATE BROWN…Which sucks because no one else is making a gold/brown filament….but like 11 million are making this same poop-colored shade of brown..Hmm….get what you ask for I guess….and I had used 4 rolls of this before….I guess I need to find a gold that’s more brown now..Anyone got a suggestion?I put up a pic…the one on the left is the old color…the one on the right is the NEW color….in the middle is one of the Big Ben’s I print (with clock movement)….the old was the perfect shade of ‘weathered brown’…Jay (below is my review from 18 months ago….I purchased both brown and pink to try from Gizmo Dorks (since I had never heard of them). I have bought other filament from here that was gawd-awful and can’t be used for reliable printing. I’m happy to say this is not true with the Gizmo Dorks I have tried.Pros : Consistent, Good wind on spool, VERY nice spool too. Nicely and well packaged – 5 Stars for that.Cons : More opaque Gold than dark brown…only reason I gave it a one star hit. Otherwise this stuff is the shiznet! Prints well on my Replicator 2!!Jay
