Thing works great! I’m super pleased with the performance for the price!Note: I don’t really use the touchscreen (except on accident) and for the couple times I folded it in half to try out tablet-mode; which I found to be a bit unwieldy due to it’s size.I specifically bought this because I’ve always had a high-end frame of mind for pc performance. So this is the wimpiest processor I’ve every bought in a device. I typically spend big and then keep the device for a decade. Ex the dell xps 17″ I bought in 2012, is still wildly faster than my work laptop with the cheapest i5 money can buy. I absolutely loathe that on my work Lenovo i5 8GB RAM, I can barely use accuweather.com or weather.com because of all the ads. The fan spins up and usually the pages will crash.

computer looks beautiful so far. I was very concerned about the power plug because poor power plug design can easily lead to failures and breakages… and the power plug seems flimsy and badly designed. I plan to make it work as long as possible anyway. I have it desk mounted for now but I plan to take it on trips when I can. So I will plan to give my opinion at that time for that. So far so good. It took me a few days to get it dialled in to the point where I feel comfortable working with it but it seems good so far.

I use this when I shower at night and can still smell myself the next morning. When I’m wearing it to work or something else it lasts but the smell does become muted towards the end of the day. The price is a little high but it definitely does the job

First and foremost the sale price for this device ($286 with tax came out to $300.72) is just highway robbery! The Flex 5i is to mid-range Chromebooks what the original Chromebook Duet is for affordable (budget end) Chromebooks…the default suggestion & standard bearer. It may not be the sleekest, most attractive device on the market but what it lacks in appearance it more than makes up for with its specifications. You would be very hard pressed to find a device this versatile and powerful for $300. And in all honesty you really shouldn’t even bother looking anywhere else.If you are looking for a Chromebook under the $500 price range this is absolutely one of the Chromebooks you should consider. It is an amazing 2-in-1 device with extraordinary power and the functionality is amazing and the only things you will have to come to terms with are that the screen is a bit yellow in tint and that there is no HDMI port on this device and that can be easily solved by using a hub or getting a USB C to HDMI Adapter which at most will cost you $20.Also for those of you worried about fan noise…in my experience it hardly cuts on but again it probably depends what all you are doing and the type of surface you have this device on.Get…This…Chromebook. You’ll be glad you did.

I wanted to acquire a second laptop as a backup/replacement for my aging Toshiba Satellite laptop (BTW, also a good brand). I’m not into gaming but I did want a solid state hard drive of at least 256 gb; 8 gb ram, and a fairly new processor such as an Intel I3 11th generation, as well as at least a 15.6 inch screen. Checks all those blocks. So not absolutely the best but better than a typical chromebook. I have had the laptop for about 6 weeks now and it works fine and as expected. Set up was easy and it arrived without a lot of bloatware. Only minor complaint is the battery does not seem robust as it could be with only a couple hours of life before a recharge is needed. Usually, I am plugged in most of the time anyway so that aspect really doesn’t matter to me. All in all though I am very satisfied with this purchase.

I’ve only had this for a day but it’s a great little Chromebook for getting lite work done. I’ve yet to try the touchscreen out as I’ve been using it strictly as a laptop. The battery life is mediocre, depending on what you do. For Google doc editing and article reading with Spotify in the background I was getting about 7 hours. Not bad for a laptop but not great for a Chromebook. It’s a bit heavier than other Chromebooks I’ve tried but still perfectly manageable. The little i3 is pulling its weight in this Chromebook. Everything feels very responsive and I’ve yet to have any hangups, even when trying it out with multiple 1080p YouTube videos going and several chrome tabs for research. I’m thoroughly impressed.Overall I would still personally give it 5 stars.Note: I did order this through Amazon. UPS was very slow to get it from Amazon to my town. They then delivered it to an unknown address and neither UPS or Amazon were helpful at all and the package was never recovered. Amazon did, however, issue a refund and I picked one up locally, albeit at a slightly higher price. Better than dealing with UPS, though.

Smell is warm, gentle and vanilla-y, not as strong as i prefer but lovely. I opened the package to find that the plastic seal on bottle had been broken/cap was loose-could just be the packaging as plastic seal barley covered the end of cap-but appeared to have been opened

It seems good. I really liked that fingerprint start button but it hasn’t worked last 3 times. So I’m not sure about that. I like the feel of the keys. It’s much lighter than my old 15 inch. I’m learning windows 11. Not so sure about it. But the computer is good.

It took way too long to get here, it was supposed to be delivered a certain day then got delivered 4 days later. It smells very beachy , a great summer scent. The scent doesn’t last too long but it is a body spray. Overall a summer staple to get the Coco banana salty smell.

I just received this laptop yesterday. It came professionally packaged and brand new. Runs fast and no issues so far. Touch screen is nice. Screen quality is ok for what I paid for it. I will use it for household things.

Would have given 5 stars however the display is not as clear as my old Lenovo laptop. Unable to clearly see display if looking at an angle. Distorted view.

This laptop does everything I need it to. Nothing fancy but works good. The one thing I wish was better was the screen quality. Images and documents are a little dull but not bad enough for me to return it. And the keyboard does not light up but that’s ok.

The media could not be loaded. This is an economical laptop for general home use, including surfing the internet, attending Zoom meetings, and shopping on the Web. Build quality seems good and the machine has a reasonable selection of features for this price point.PROS=====Good Hardware:Nice 14” FHD display screen (color / resolution)Physical size/weight are a nice middle-of-the-road balance (not too big/not too heavy)Like the built-in Camera privacy shutter (cover)Trackpad pad operates smoothly and is appropriately sensitive to the clicksKeyboard has nice tactile feelTwo USB-A, one USB-C, 1 HDMI, I card slot8GB RAM / 256GB Samsung SSDIntel Core i5 Processor / Fast enough for Internet surfing, etc., but NOT a gaming machine.CONS=====Software:Windows 11 Home (64 bit) Operating SystemMicrosoft Account Login required for set-up / No option to skip this => Sharing of files on all devices is Not desirable if setting up a kids’ homework computer (Don’t want kids having access to my files). Also, generally prefer to keep Work and Home computing separate. Some Bloatware – Ads for Xbox video game pass (not interested), Annual MS Office365 membership, etc. keep popping up.Hardware:Keyboard appears to be able to run backlit but I can’t figure out how to turn that feature on/off.No explanation of the special functions on the (top-row) FN keys – Not all of these Symbols are obvious802.11n Wi-Fi performance is relatively slow. I have a 500Mbps Xfinity connection, accessable via a 450Mbps (ASUS RT-N66U) router – Speedtest shows 682Mbps available when direct-wired (LAN) to our desktop PC. The included Lenovo WiFi adapter somehow has link speed of just 144Mbps (Receive/Transmit) and achieved only 88-to-96Mbps rate on Speedtest, while sitting just 2 feet from the router. Should be faster than that…

I won’t mention the brand of my old PCs (the last 2), but this Lenovo is so much faster and more responsive. Big relief to be able to login in the morning and not have to wait 15 minutes for everything to start up.

I’ve used computers since Graduate School and “Floppy Disks” and as a definite “Senior Citizen,” I have been upgrading computers. Needed a new laptop, and this Lenova was a wonderful choice. But, the Windows “S” was a disaster. I use several “trusted” programs that “S” would not install. The supposed “Delete S” option failed miserably! Even tried to install Windows Pro from a USB stick and “S” would not recognize it! Fortunately, my son who is a 20 year Senior Member of a large corporation team that secures over 6000 computers running on the Windows platform came to the rescue. Even he could not make “S” disappear until he completely “wiped” the Lenova hard drive and put a fresh non-“S” Windows version on it. Consider calling Lenova and getting a model without “Windows S,” even it if costs you an upgrade fee.

Bought this laptop with a stipend when I started a new job. The camera and microphone are good for virtual meetings. Love the large size of the screen and the additional number pad on the right of the keyboard (can’t believe how much use I get out of that). As others have reviewed, the battery life could be way better. I was honestly surprised how quickly it depletes, so be aware you’ll need a charger nearby if it will be in use for more than 2 hours.

I was pretty happy to get these specs on this laptop at this price point. It said it was used, but it looks brand new. The keys on the keyboard have a kinda weird texture that makes them feel a little cheap and the keys are very flat, no concave at all. So that could be better. The only real disappointment was that I ordered the Platinum Grey color and they sent the Almond Gold color instead. Not a huge fan, but it looks ok with that brushed metal look. Didn’t want to go through the hassle of return or exchange just because of the color. It does the job.All in all, pretty satisfied. Again, can’t complain too much when it’s $300.

Good for students and people who need it for browsing, correspondence, and general entertainment like movies and youtube, etc. I’m using it as a support laptop for when I need a travel laptop. For something that’s so thin and light, it’s built sturdy for something that’s only 3.3lbs. The 14 inch screen is a nice usable size for working, and the bezels are thin enough not to distract from the screen. Also worth noting is that the screen is a matte finish! I love this since you don’t get annoying glare and reflections and it doesn’t seem to affect color reproduction at all. Display brightness is good, brighter than my previous HP at 300nits, and viewing angles are good up to 170-degrees.This unit is RAM expandable. The 8GB DDR4 is soldered in and there’s also a DDR4-SO-DIMM slot available. For a laptop of this range I was expecting some creaking and bending but the build quality is solid, which is my experience with Lenovo laptops in the past. Trackpad is responsive at default stock settings, and I like the size.Keyboard is standard laptop scissor-switch with good response for a laptop in this range. I like the lighter color contrast to the color of the laptop chassis.Available connections/ports are reasonable. You get a full USB-C port, and two standard USB-A 3.0 ports, an audio jack, and HDMIThe webcam has a privacy cover, which is a nice surprise. Video quality is good enough for virtual meetings and video conferencing, but the ambient light detection is a little slow to adjust. It’s fine for the most part though.Setup is easy and is intuitive for those relatively unused to modern computers. Standard Windows 11 welcome setup. You do have to create a Microsoft account, but it guides you through the process if you need it.The Intel Core i5-1235U 12th Gen paired with 8GB memory is fast enough for general use (if you’re not gaming or doing any heavy-duty video processing or programming). This generation Intel cpu’s 2 performance cores have a 1.3 ghz base and up to 4.4 ghz Turbo. Fast enough for me for non-work needs (aka compiling and video processing). It’s pretty efficient and I get about 7 hours with non-intensive daily usage mixed with a bit of 1080p movie watching. The quick charge function works well. After 15 minutes I get just under 2 hours of battery life charged.Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connections were stable, with no faults or dropouts so far.Overall this is a great laptop from Lenovo. Highly recommended.

The laptop is a great size, big screen with good resolution. it’s fast to boot up and loads everything quickly. The laptop even does well with my light gaming such as Roblox.THE PROBLEM:The laptop’s battery life is not known to be well, and I didn’t realize this when I bought it. It loses battery quickly, even on “battery-saving” mode it can only withstand google docs for 3-4ish hours until full battery loss. The games I play? gives me an estimate of 40 minutes on an almost full battery.

Pros:- It turns on- It connects to the internet with no issues- It’s nice to look at- Everything is normal and functioning as intended except for the followingMy cons:- I cannot FOR THE LIFE OF ME get it to connect to my external monitor. This is CRITICAL for presentations for which I’ve prepared notes. If someone has figured this out, PLEASE HELP.- Webcam is TRASH. Again, CRITICAL for my job to the point where I bought an external webcam. THANK GOD the laptop decided to accept this foreign integration without a fight.- The positioning of the trackpad is STUPID. It should be on the right-hand side. Do you know what I do all day when I don’t use my external mouse (which again, it did accept)? I continuously click the left clicker and then have to ever-so-slightly move the mouse and press the far LEFT to click something. It’s so frustrating!I bought this laptop for job hunting as I’ve received multiple work laptops and hadn’t had a need. My intention was to return it in 30 days once I accepted a position. Lucky me, it’s taken longer than anticipated so I’m stuck with this!Again, DOES NOT CONNECT TO MY EXTERNAL MONITOR. TRASH CAM.

Usually when you get a laptop for this price you expect the laptop to be a little on the slower side especially since most laptops today have 16 GB of memory. This laptop comes with 8 GB of memory soldered in and the laptop will accept another 8 GB of memory which is on order. This is surprisingly fast for only 8 gigs of memory. I had no issues with downloads, apps watching movies or downloading about 250 gb of data from my one drive. The laptop boots up in about 20 seconds. Really does not need anything else for my use. Might not be enough for gaming but should be kind of decent. My one big complaint about this laptop is the touch panel and keyboard is off center, they did this to put in a number pad which is nice feature. The problem is that on the touch pad while I am trying to click on the item, I keep on right clicking on the item. Also, when I put my hands on the keyboard, I sometimes am off by one position and have to reset my hand. I am sure I will overcome the keyboard but the touchpad I am having a hard time with. So, besides the 8GB of memory ordered I ordered a 1 TB SSD drive. I hate one drive I am old schooled I love having items on my computer and being fast. One drive is very clunky but is very usefull for not loosing data when the hard drive goes or for this instance when I got a new computer. It was painless to transfer everything over. For wifi connectivity the router is upstairs and I am in the room directly below and getting speeds of 400 MBPS which is really fast. Sitting next to the router I have hit average speed of 639 download and peak of just over 700 using Speedtest. My MacBook is not even doing that. The laptop is really light and feels just a touch flimsy there is almost no flex in the base part and screen does not flex opening and closing. If you grab both ends of the top of the screen you can get it to flex. Not a deal breaker at this price point and I really love the laptop. I have had a Dell and also an HP laptop at this price point in the past and was alway disappointed and by upgrading was happy. This one many years later which should be costing several hundred dollars more due to inflation but got at the same price as both of them ($500) is quite the bargain. I did not get to test other laptops at this price point but I know this is quite a deal. You will not be disappointed and even though I ordered more memory and a bigger SSD the laptop is pretty good just the way it is. I will upgrade to see if I see any more improvements in speed with the RAM. It never hurts to have more. Bonus this has Windows 11 Pro.

Super fast and responsive. McAfee was super easy to remove which is nice. Normally it’s a process to get rid of it. I’ve been able to customize my laptop to how I want very easily. The keys are backlit, but you need to enable it by pushing fn and the spacebar at the same time. It is only white color. Lenovo falsely advertised a RGB backlit keyboard with product pictures, but that’s not this seller’s fault. This seller has been nothing but honest and transparent. Great laptop!

Ordered this for my son for next year in High School. Quick delivery, super fast set up and for the intended purpose this is perfect. I compared with HP and Dell and the Lenovo offered best bang for the buck. The Windows 11 setup was flawless and my son’s microsoft account easily added. Ample computing power and storage for student needs. This is not top of the line Lenovo, it’s a student quality laptop priced accordingly.I’m satisfied and my son is happy.

Purchased this for basic computing and client sessions at my private practice. The Icore3 and 8 gb ram is very fast, better than a work issued dell I previously had. The screen resolution is so so. Not too noticiable until I put it next to my HD second screen. The worst part about this computer for me is first the webcam. It sucks, grainy, poor lighting, I ended up ordering a new camera to plug into it so my clients have a better experience. If the screen resolution were a bit better, and the camera were better (My $100 Kindle Fire has a better camera) then this would be a 5 of 5. For what I am knocking off its a solid 4.5.I don’t regret my purchase and believe it will meet my needs very well at the budget that felt right for me. I enjoy the size of the computer, keyboard, and the touchscreen and ability to use a pen is a huge plus for me to sign notes and documentation.

The computer itself works fine and does everything I want it to. I like it very much. It actually seems to function a little faster and easier than my Lenovo Yoga. But I like the screen of my Yoga much more. The screen of the Ideapad 3 adds a light blue hue to everything, especially photos. This throws the colors off. It also feels “depressing” – it affects my mood. There are ways to change the display to cooler shades or warmer shades but to my eyes, the options look worse than the factory color tones. Maybe this can be corrected, but my Lenovo Yoga looked great right out of the box. This Lenovo Ideapad3 does not. I think some of the problem has to do with the angle the screen is opened to. The image fades or deepens, deepening upon the angle you are viewing the screen from. My Yoga is not this sensitive, and the screen has a sharper image. That’s my only complaint. The colors of the screen don’t look as vivid or sharp or accurate, as they do on my Lenovo Yoga.

My husband bought a previous model of this laptop about a year ago and I was so impressed by it that I bought the current model for myself. I work my computer pretty hard and I was initially worried that the solid-state drive wouldn’t be able to keep up but I’ve seen no problems from either of our machines. Twenty GB of RAM means NO WAITING on anything! Setup was easy and the laptop didn’t come with an overabundance of bloatware, which I appreciated. I’m still getting used to the keyboard but, generally, I like the layout. I’ve not used a mouse in a long long time so I was please at the responsiveness (and the placement) of the touchpad. My biggest complaint is probably the lack of a physical hard drive light on the unit. Thank goodness I found a fairly suitable software replacement in the Microsoft Store. Overall, I’m enjoying my new laptop and would recommend one to others. But shell out for the 20 GB of RAM. It really makes a difference!

I’ve had this computer for about a week now and it’s incredible. I was hesitant at first at buying a gaming PC but I’m glad I bought this one. Gaming is great in my opinion, it works very well. If you don’t want to spend thousands of dollars on a high-end laptop, this is definitely a great choice.
